Resurrection is the first mini-collection created, exclusively for Atelier MIRU, in 2018. It was born from a poignant moment in the artist’s life, which became the main inspiration in her creative process. Each brush stroke conveys an emotion evoked as a result of the event.  

 

The collection takes the shape of a memoir telling the story of loss, grief and finally, compliance. The pieces chronicle feelings of rebellion and denial, struggle for survival and normalcy and the becoming of the worst breed of human; the one with a bruised heart and broken, but who still hopes for something extraordinary.

The collection encompasses a diverse range of furniture, which can stunningly compliment a space together or simply on their own. All pieces are hand-painted in oil and are one-of-a-kind.
